Programming with Purpose

Every moment is built with intention

A group of elderly people and a caregiver interact in a well-lit communal room, with some seated at a table and others engaged in different activities.

At Arden Courts, our programming isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s grounded in what each person values based on past routines, lifelong interests, and present abilities. From familiar tasks to new joys, we support the whole person through:

  • Daily chances to stay physically and mentally active
  • Opportunities to contribute in ways that feel meaningful
  • Support for spiritual and civic engagement
  • A warm, encouraging environment every step of the way

More Than a Calendar of Activities

Personalized support through intentional programming

Our approach to daily life is layered and well-thought out. From quiet moments to group events, every offering is built to support independence, dignity, and joy for older adults in senior living.

Individual Pursuits

Our residents are encouraged to stay involved in the things that matter to them. Familiar tasks and hobbies help preserve identity and offer comfort through:

  • Activity bins with items like playing cards for games and sorting
  • Dedicated on-site destinations with one of several themes such as a beach, library, park, cafe, or workshop
  • A studio setting in which our residents can embrace their own individual pursuits in a common space for more socialization as needed

Engagement Therapy Treatment®

Engagement Therapy Treatment ® (ETT), also known as “Enjoying Time Together” by our residents, is our structured therapy model designed for those living with progressive memory loss. Residents are matched in small groups based on shared abilities and interests. Each session integrates reading, writing, and socializing through:

  • Art appreciation and educational discussions
  • Music, games, and movement
  • Food-based experiences and sensory activities
  • Volunteer opportunities

Lifestyle Programming

We encourage independence through hands-on activities that feel natural, familiar, and fulfilling. Residents take part in meaningful routines that promote both movement and memory. These simple tasks aren’t just practical; they foster confidence and joy through:

  • Tidying up a room or setting the table
  • Folding clothes or watering the flowers
  • Helping in the kitchen or gathering herbs from the garden
  • Spending time with family who come to visit
